8:30 am Surgeon called, with concerns. 
Ellie is coughing- a productive cough. Because of her regurgitation episodes he is concerned she may now have broncitis or pnuemonia. She is not eating. But on iv to prevent hypogl. He changed antibiotic to a broad spectrem form. The neck/surgery/walking are all great. This is a separate issue. He said she is not out of the woods yet. She is being watched like a hawk. She will remain in the hospital for a few more days as he treats this problem. We will still go back to Athens Ga today, save on hotel exps and  will drive back up as we play this by ear with her recovery. He will call again this afternoon with next report.
