Thanks everyone! He has spent the whole day sleeping...we're hoping that rest will help! I am actually currently living two hours outside of Chicago and moving back to Chicago in the fall, and there aren't any open vets in the area due to the holiday weekend! ARGH! I found one that is open on Monday, and if things get worse tomorrow, we're going to drive an hour to an ER vet. We're saying some prayers.
Oh, and as far as paying for him goes, it's just this paycheck that we're running behind since we had to pay for him completely upfront and pay off the rest of the wedding...but now we are DEBT FREE! YAY!
We get paid on Thursday, so things will start to head up from here. We just definitely didn't expect Oliver to get sick so quickly! Poor baby!
We called the breeder, and although there were 8 puppies in Oliver's litter, Oliver is the only one to get sick, so I'm quite curious as to how this is possible- nothing has changed in his diet or at home either, and he hasn't been around other dogs since we got him, so I'm getting a little bit skeptical of this breeder. At first I thought it was just allergies, but now we now it's definitely not.
