I know this is a bit late but yes I Always cook my turkey breast side down and it comes out Great! I usually have a truss or rack so I can lift it out and turn it over the last 30 minutes to brown the top. One word of caution- I have read if you don't cook a turkey at 325, the internal temp doesn't get high enough to kill bacteria.
