If you used a 1 comb then i don't think its from a hot blade or clipper burn. A 1 comb leave the hair long enough so it shouldn't be sunburn either. hmmm, when the sun is on his outside area does he have a place to go in the shade? i guess if he sat in the direct sun for a while it could bother his skin.
maybe he just has allergies? what type of shampoo do you use on him? Do you use conditioner as well and then make sure you rinse really well to get all the product off his coat? sometimes shampoo/conditioner that is accidentally left on can irritate the skin. Is the skin just pink in color or does it appear to be prickly with red dots, scabby, flaky, or greasy?
Also a dogs temperature runs hotter then ours so when you touch sometimes they appear to be warm when in fact its just their normal body temp. humans are 98.6 and dogs tend to run 100-102.5.
