Actually the rule changed and you have to be a member for 3 mos and have 250 posts (along with being a donating member).
Here is the rule:
"Starting with the 18th YT GE (November 2009), we will be requiring members that participate to be on YorkieTalk at least three months and have at least 250 posts. "
