The true culture of Australia goes back to the aboriginals, and visiting their land is amazing experience. My class (before I homeschooled) went on trip and we got to see traditional aboriginal dances and saw a man play the digeridoo. The boys all got to have a go. Was so cool! There's a wonderful movie called Rabbit Proof Fence, if it in America I recommend you watch! |
I do understand what you are saying. My ethnic background is from Spain, never been. But, we did have a Foreign Exchange Student living with us and he was very upset about American's concept of Spain....Bull Fights, Flamenco Dancing....explained this was not what Spain was about.
