Hi and while I'm no expert I'd keep them seperated so there's no more fighting

the other part of what you said is a personal decision but this biting could be due to jealousy and maybe when the puppies are gone he'll be back to normal if he wasn't behaving this way before...

edited to add - how big is he ? you said 12 week old puppies are bigger than he is ?
