I don't take either of my babies with me shopping or dining, pets are not allowed and just because mine are small doesn't mean I should get preference over someone with with a larger dog such as a collie or something that would be prejudiced (sp).
I take them to my mothers as she has small babies also and my dad loves them to come visit. I would never take them (or even ask to take them) to someones home who don't have housepets, its their preference and I respect that.
To each his own but for me I can't justify taking them where they shouldn't be. I guess I'm just a stickler for respecting rules.
