My heart is breaking because of your tragic loss of Trinket. You did everything you could to love and protect her. You wanted to make her happy, and it sounds like she was a very happy little girl. I'm sure she loved going outside and having you hold her close. No matter how much we try to protect our babies, sometimes things happen beyond our control.
