I did this with Teddy only 3 times and he's never puppy bite me since. Too bad i can't find the video it was SOO helpful.
Someone else posted this one too. I think it's a bad idea because it could teach the pup to fear your hands. Even though your smacking your own hand, they feel it. It might encourage fear biting later on in life. Essentially, you are replacing one undesired behavior with another. Be careful.
