I'm so sorry to hear this, reminds me of the Bible story where Solomon was trying to learn the real mother of the child, and suggested cutting it in half and giving each woman half. One woman cried out that she had lied, and he should give the child to the other women. Solomon gave the child to her; she had proven that she was the real mother. People always talk about "loving" their pets, but sometimes that means swallowing your pride, and doing the right thing. There were other options available. |
