Default Puppy proof

Okay, I also did the outlets, plus I put things on both side of the TV stand so she couldn't get behind it and chew cords. I also put pillows behind the couch and loveseat so she couldn't go back there and chew or potty. I also put a pillow behind/underneath the rocker/recliner so she couldn't get under it and I smash her. She stays in the family room, so I made sure my puppy gates had holes small enough and bought an IRIS puppy pen to keep her in when I left the house. It's a tile floor so accidents are easy to pick up. No toys that she could possibly distroy and swallow (like small bells). My baby is now about 5.5 months and I also have an 18 month too. I have also put a superyard xt in the back yard for her potty training. She knows when I put her in it that she needs to potty to get out. I also don't have to chase her around the back yard. It worked great for my older yorkie and is working very well for my baby too. I've puppy proofed my yard too (fixed any gaps in the fence that she could squeeze out of and made sure there was nothing in the yard that she could get in to). Good luck with your new baby. So much fun!
