It's funny you ask this question because I was just thinking about this today. I started off with Bentley...then got Bitsy for a playmate. I definitely reccomend having two as opposed to one!!! No question about it!!!
When they had puppies and we ended up keeping two, not that I would trade any of them for anything, but having four is very time consuming!! The absolute worst part of having four is trying to give them all individual attention in a fair way...AND, for instance, this past Tuesday I took Bailey on a long afternoon outing to my Mom's and my sons...today I took Charlie...it is SOOOOOO hard to take one and leave the other three at home!!! It is just heartbreaking to walk out the door and have the other three looking at me and not understanding why they don't get to go

!!! But I have to take turns because I can't take them all anywhere without help and keep up with them. Even taking two is harder than taking one...this is the only drawback. I always feel like I am giving one more attention than the other and it just makes me feel bad all the time
