you can ask that the next time that area is groomed to have them use a guard to avoid direct contact with the skin.

I would too make it very clear that you expect to hear if there is even a slight mishap at any future visits.

Because this was her first go round she may not of known he was a bit twitchy when she got to that area and was caught off guard and didn't know the full extent of the problem. Sometimes those things can look fine when it happens but be problematic later.

If its a scratch I would put a small amount of neosporin on it. If it just looks irritated I would leave it alone. Im not sure if you can use cortisone or benydril cream on dogs. So unless you get the ok from your vet or they may have a calming cream for him.
