I agree she should have told you upon pick up bpt wait for your caal and say oh sporry ya he is a wiggle worm,, this happend to my dog as well a few years back, but was on his butt, sad it was so bad he would drag his butt on the floor to make it better but in fact made it worse, he could not get comfortable, the hydrocortisone cream did help a bit, but time is what it needs, i would try not to let your dog lick at the cream if you can but if he ingests a bit it wont hurt him her. You may also want to try a little bit of vinegar on a cotton ball it wont hurt your dog and will take some of the sting off.
