I can't help you. That's never happened to my baby. Why don't you call your vet or an emergency clinic and ask them? I would be afraid to put anything on it as your baby might lick it, and it might not be good for him. I hope you can help him find relief tonight. I've read where others have put onesies on their pup so it could not scratch or lick. Just a thought.
