My boys get razor burn really easily. My groomer has resorted to a complete scissor cut, of course this cost me $5 more ($45) for a groom. Fletch got razor burn on his 'winky' one time so badly that it got infected and he had to be on antibiotics for 10 days! He also got razor burn on his bum another time, not as bad though. I love my groomer and didn't stop taking my boys there but like I said, now they don't use clippers at all anymore, just scissors. My groomer said she only clipped my boys for 1 min then let the clippers cool down and did another min with them but it still didn't help so that was when she said she'll just use scissors since they are obviously very sensitive.
