I just came home to a note on our door "TO THE OWNERS OF THE NOISY DOG!!!!"
How embarrassing. We live in an apartment at the moment and have floor to ceiling windows in the living room which overlook the car park. Max barks at EVERYTHING! Other dogs, people, cars, even the TV!
We're moving in a month to a new house but in the meantime I don't want to upset my current neightbours even more. I've covered the bottom half of the window so he can't see out, I am hoping this will stop him from barking so much.
Other than that, I have tried a whistle but he find this fun and barks along with it, "NO" doesn't work, clapping loudly, I will have to give the water bottle a try but he tends to love water from the shower squirted at him
He also barks at other dogs when we are out, only when he is on his lead, if he is off his lead he will run and go play with them but this is also a pain as other people get wary of him.
I really want to stop this barking as it's getting a bit much and we don't want to annoy our new neightbours when we move
