 Yay Life Vest and Doggles!
Hepburn got his first life vest and a pair of really snazzy doggles today. He has been swimming once in the bathtub, just to test, and the vest works GREAT! I am taking him to the Outer Banks, NC this summer when I am stateside (I am an American living in Berlin, Germany), and the house we are staying at has a pool, so I got the vest for when I am swimming and he is in the pool area, in case he should fall or jump in. He doesn't like the doggles much, but it was sunny outside when I put them on him, and he let them stay on after I told him no for pawing at them. I am looking forward to taking him to the beach for the first time and testing his new stuff out.
The life vest is an XXS blue polka dot vest from Paws Aboard, and the doggles are XXS K9 Optix in Copper. They both fit very well. Hepburn is around 3 lbs, for reference. He is very slim and long. Photos to come soon. |
