Haven't read this one, but a friend has for her Border Collie. She is going to Karen Pryor Academy (a dog training academy using positive reinforcement to become a dog trainer) and she absolutely loved it! Its a book about using the clicker in the show ring.
I would also recommend watching a BBC documentary called "Pedigree Dogs Exposed". It shows the more umm, ruthless side of showing/breeding.
