I love my new yorkie and have two other dogs. I tried to get one from a rescue and was told I was a good candidate but due to not having specific rescue experience they would not place one with us. I guess I don't understand as the only way to get yorkie experience is to have one. So we did go out and research and talk to others that have them and found a breeder and we got one. She is wonderful. About 3 weeks after we got her the rescue called to see if we were still interested they might reconsider. I said no as she was only 3 1/2 months old. It makes me sad though (not that we don't love her) but we could have rescued one without a good home instead of going to a breeder. |
