I rescued a Yorkie in 1993. I loved "Cricket" so much!
I almost did not take her because I could tell she was not being well cared for. I decided she would be better off with me. I took her home, gave her a good bath and took great care of her. Spoiled her! The years she had with us, were probably the best years of her life.
In 1995, she passed away in her sleep of a heart attack. I was devastated. It has taken me since that time, to finally have another dog. So since January, I have brought home 2 precious, sweet little puppies. I love them so much and I am having fun spoiling them. With all my children grown up..... youngest is almost 21..... my puppies are my "babies".
There is great rewards to rescuing. I have also rescued ALL of my kitties. And they are also very spoiled and very loved. |
