This is my worst fear. Thank you so much for sharing your heartbreaking story.Quote: |

I was having trouble with her on other power cords as well before she finally got a good hold on this one. So she liked them for some reason. Now, I have gone through my whole house and pulled cords up or made sure they were where the dogs cannot get to them. If it is something I don't use on a regular basis I unplug it. In all my life with dogs, it was my first experience with a cord chewer, and I hope it was also my last. |
Pickles, like I imagine all other dogs here, has plenty of toys but has started going for the cords. I will be picking up apple bitter today, I had rather her be upset with my for disrupting her appetite than lose her because she chewed into a live cord. What have any of you done to secure the cords throughout your home, i.e for desktops, laptops, entertainment centers, alarm clocks? The cords are on the ground even a little bit.
