I have a cat named madison i adopted from death row about 8 years ago, maddie was never a fan of cats she was born with no legs in the back and cats she lived with were mean to her, but when i got my 2 yorkies as puppies 6 years ago she liked the dogs, the one more than the other, my fife was a little more gentle with her and shaffer was always more in her face but she liked them both, My fife needed to be put to sleep last week and maddie really seems to miss him, she started to sleep in his bed and next to his toy box. I think if the dog grows up with cats he she doesnt know its not normal, like my dogs always thought it was normal that cats dont have legs, when shaffer and fife were at a friends house iwth me who has a normal cat that jumped on the counter both my dogs were in shock. Give it some time with your moms cat, your dog might cone around or learn to ignore or tollerate |
