I had a Yorkie more than 30 years ago, but left her with my mom when I got married and moved away, as they had a special bond I couldn't break.
We had three dogs of our own after that (two were rescues and the other we couldn't resist!
and I waited till just 5 years ago to get my yorkies.. the wait was well worth it. I hope you don't have to wait that long.
