Lightbulb Looking for Ideas other than worst case senario?

Ok so here is the rundown. I apologize if I am not allowed to do this but I cannot find any forums on Bichons like this one. So this question is about my Bichon not Yorkie. She is 2 years old, mannerisms like yorkie, but twice as much energy. So...yesterday we were doing yard work in the backyard and I noticed that when she would run to me at a low to medium speed, that occasionally she would run on three legs. She would occasionally lift her front right leg, sometimes for a few steps. Once I saw it I tested again to make sure it wasn't a fluke. She shows no signs of pain, she walk on it, sits on it, jumps on it, all without showing pain. I checked her paw to see if there was something stuck in it but I could not find anything. Bichons are prone to LP also, and I think she may encounter that as I can already hear a slight clicking in her leg but this is her front leg. I know I should take her to the vet, and I probably will if it continues, I am just looking for ideas because it is all I can think about. She LOVES to run, and I mean all out sprint, but I don't want to test her sprint for fear that she will injure herself more. Any ideas? Thanks!!
