How can such a little one entangle their way around our hearts? Its the LOVE we have to offer they accept without question. We are the ones burden with the knowledge of what could happen! They are the one to enjoy each and every day without question to its fullest.

As I said before they teach us, the Shelby's, Elle's, Babybear, Baily, Blueboy, what life is really about. Enjoy me now, dont question tomorrow. I am here love me.

These are only the words I can offer in solace to you and anyone else going through a difficult times.

Yes I rely on my God, you rely on what is best for you, but know we are here as a YOKIETALK family to help you through.

Anne and Shelby with her furbabies

  Hi Ann
What a sensitive message- so perfectly in tune to the emotions and thoughts that have already begun to invade our hearts and minds. We wish we could give anything to be in Ellie's place- to be the one to have surgery. She is so little so innocent so precious. It is hard to think someone this precious has such a serious congenital illness. Our emotions are all over the place already this week. All of the 'what ifs' are our raw thoughts. We are blessed with positive stories such as your Shelby's and all of the other AAI success surgeries. We know they all have different cases pre surgery- and different outcomes post surgery. All we can say is we are totally committed to give this baby every opportunity for a healthy life. She is a strong fighter- Six of her seven months we have been literally by her side treating her. When she looks at us with her little eyes right now- we just want her to know the cast on again, and the surgery coming up, and the cast on again, etc- Is all to give her the new chance at life she needs.
We have learned so much thru this baby- our lives have been touched- and she has touched so many lives. We pray this Friday and the days beyond- will be new chapters written in her journey that we can continue to share.
Ann- you are quite the dedicated mother to Shelby, having walked this scary dark unknown road. You are an inspiration of what can be conquered. I thank you for simply being there for us.
