Morgan has been attacked as well but i take her back to the same place again and again so she doesn't associate it with fear. While at the dog park there is usually one dog there who just won't leave morgan alone. i don't know what it is about her that just makes some dogs obsessed. she has also been pinned by a westie and a jack russle and accidentally sat on by an english bulldog puppy. that pup was just being lazy but morgan happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. LOL I also had a dog go off on her when i brought her to work with me one time. it was a cocker who just snapped. they had been fine all day together, playing with the other dogs but at the end of the day when i left to pull my car around closer to the shop he bit her on the head for no reason. she was shaken up at first but quickly got over it. And she still comes to work with me and still likes to greet/play with the other dogs. |
I agree with taking him back.
About 5 years ago I was at a pet store and there was a lab there that looked like it had been to hell and back. I politely asked if she had just had spay surgery or something.
The owner said that she had gotten attacked at the dog park and he wanted her to know that not all dogs were bad (wanted to let her see mine).
It totally made sense to me.
