The heat cycle will last approximately three weeks or longer, so yes, if your male is not neutered and he bred her she could get pregnant. Please do not leave them alone unsupervised. It is common for females to have a personality change when they are in heat and for a couple of months following their heat cycle. The vulva will swell a lot when the female is in heat. I recommend you proceed with getting her spayed but I would wait about two more weeks.
