One time when I was out of town with my mom we brought Pippin and one of the pet stores in the West Edmonton Mall offered doggie daycare so we decided that we'll put him in there for an hour or so while we go shop around. Pippin does wear a collar at all times but in places like pet stores he wears his harness, same when he goes for a walk. Anyways the lady looked at me and then Pippin's harness and said "You have to take that off." When I questened her why she said it was because they put choke collars on them when they take them out for a potty break.
I looked at my mom and back at the lady and I told her straight up that he had to wear his harness if she was taking him out, she started to question why and me being a person who did her Yorkie research before getting one had to educate the lady on what could happen because Pippin is a puller. Needless to say she was quite rude but let Pippin keep his harness on anyways. Apparently she didn't know anything about Yorkie's like she claimed too the minute she saw him and recognized him as a Yorkie.
