  That was my understanding also. Since the testicle isn't in plain view, a vet has to got get them per say, much like a spay. I have seen some vets require overnights even on simple neuters. I was able to pick my boy up the same day. It was hard enough to have to leave him before 7 am and wait until 4 pm to pick him up. Even if he was a nightmare once the anesthesia wore off.
