I hate it when people don't research about their pets, whether they are dogs, birds, rodents, or anything! It's a huge pet peeve of mine, and I feel so bad for their animals.
My "favourite" comment (it's happened twice!) is when someone asked of Indy, "Oh, is she a teacup?" to which I explained that Yorkies are not like Poodles with different sizes. Then there was a long pause and the person followed with, "I have a teacup Yorkie..." Ugh. Research, people!
