The first week it is important to weigh them a couple of times a day to make sure they re gaining. You can lose them so fast, waiting one day is too long.
As for the mother trying to move them, do you have the bed inside an xpen? My mothers never try to move them. I handle them daily so they get used to being handled. I weigh them daily for the first two weeks, longer if I have one that is lagging behind. |
when my chloe was pushing i just pushed up gently on her what you called it vulvar to help them get out..yes i weigh them morning and night to see if there getting the milk..she's a first time mom and i think she misses being with me cause she came out today and sat on the couch with me for a little bit..i think she wants them out to play or something cause she brings them out of her box i have 1 of those carrying boxes and the vet said that was fine since she's small when they get bigger i will be making a bigger rm for her to move around..she had 1 dead inside her a boy and i lost the girl i was keeping after 3 days don't know if it was because she wasn't getting the milk or mom sat on her it was sad and i cried and still mad about losing her but i guess it happens thanks
