The Biewer began as a breed in Germany. They have their own standard created by Mr. Biewer. It is very specific for color placement, size, coat, etc. When we show our dogs, they are evaluated by the German standard. I'm no expert on parti-yorkies; however, I don't think they are specific for color placement and they originated in America. You can read about the Biewer history and see the standard on my website.
