Luckily my husband ( a former ocean lifeguard) was waiting for her. So she sank a bit and then he lifted her up. She didn't seem too scared. Then he held her over the water and her feet began to "doggie paddle" so he lowered her into the water again, but she couldn't hold her own. So she has been in with my husband twice more since and doesn't bother to try to doggie paddle. He just carries her around.
I have a river raft (where there is mesh on the bottom) I put her in there and she liked it and left her "mark" . That's my Farrah...the marker.

The life jackets are on the boat, so I think I will buy another set so I never forget them home or on the boat.

Thanks for sharing all your stories. It is scary sometimes when you are the caretaker of these precious little souls.
