To be honest and not to sound mean but Cody will probably miss her for a week or two...then move on. On the return trip home he will be delighted. A switch will not change much of anything nor will it alter a relationship. Except that Cody will return home sitting on a dime when asked. Feelings of the heart are a human emotion. We feel that it will be heartbreaking for the dog. That this might damage the dog. It will not. He will grieve but move on- unlike a human who may grieve for the whole duration. This does not mean Cody loves her any less...it just means he's a dog.
Hm, your friend has a stunning dog Dani ;D |
What about the stress of moving him interstate repeatedly? Yes he is a dog but that doesn't mean you just jerk him around because he don't understand! Do you has any evidence to back up this claim? Or is this opinion?
