I have a male, but we don't dress him. I may for Christmas or Halloween or other holidays but that's about it. I had a female teacup poodle and I didn't dress her either. (She did get a bow in her hair when she went to the groomer but it always fell out pretty quickly.)
I always think that the dog would be uncomfortable wearing clothes. I'll probably get him something to wear for winter when he goes outside to pee or for walks, but even in winter, I don't think he'll need to wear clothes as I keep my house pretty warm. |
I very much believe that dressing a dog is an owner's personal choice. I wouldn't force it on Kaji, but he doesn't mind. He will run to me if it's too cold for me to put something on him. (my apt stays really cool all year long) Having said that, Kaji is naked 95% of the time. I love his coat colors to much to hide it behind clothes all the time.
