You might ask for the first appointment of the day on a Monday morning..if possible?
I have you ever tried a mobile vet? I had a wonderful one in Md. She worked at the vets and did home appts also. The visit was $12 more then going to the vets, but everything else was the same...and she sent out bills at the end of the month..it was worth it to me at times.
