That is not always true, so please be careful. Depends on why your dog is not eating. If she is being picky, I think eventually she will eat. I did go through this myself, thought my girl was being picky, turns out she was severely ill. If she is healthy and happy in every other aspect, then maybe she is just picky. But if you notice she is losing weight, is depressed or listless, please see your vet right away.
