oh yeah - money and all the hands it passes thru without anyone caring where the money they're making is coming from, From the day I learned years ago about mills - auctions and all the other things that involve mass breeding and profit..........it has and always will make me SICK that not more is done to stop it
I have high hopes for the new legislation. It would make anyone who sells over 50 dogs a year under federal rules. Right now breeders who sell directly to the public over the internet do not need any kind of licensing or regulation. Internet sells are the fastest growing market, now that most people know about not buying through a pet store, but at least these breeders are regulated. They are also trying to beef up the USDA powers of enforcement.
