Well my pet belief is that if dogs had a female breeder of the right type, ie gave lots of love, attention, bonding to, then the dog be it male or female would naturally gravitate towards the female and vice a versa .

We have three dogs from female breeders, and well they all have bonded more with me than hubby. Even when we tried to get him to feed them more than I, and he walks them just as much, etc etc.

IDK maybe it's just the luck of the draw when there are two or more parties involved in the ownership of animals.
