If the dog is over a year old i don't know what kind of health guarantee breeders provide but i think if its under a year then it should still have a 1 year health guarantee against hereditary issues including luxating patella and liver issues.
i'm not a breeder so i really don't know what goes into a contract and if it changes depending on age of the puppy. hopefully some of the breeders will come on and help you out.
