Gatsby can swim but he hates it if he feet cant touch the bottom. we had small stream and pond that was swim safe when we lived the next city over and we let dogs swim with leaches on.
my mothers pug can swim but my mom is afraid to put her in deeper water because she is afraid she will get tired to fast and not be able to hold up all of her muscle and drown.
