OK. I pick up an unwanted dog at 9:30 this morning. The owner is a 21 year old girl (that I have known since she was born). She is an aspiring singer & just landed a record deal. Anyway, she is moving to LA on Sunday. She has a 5 year old Schnoodle that is neutered, housebroken & current on shots. I have been trying to find him a home for a week to no avail. My Aunt and Uncle in Tulsa are going back and forth & they may take him. Anyway, yesterday she emailed me and said, I guess I will take him to the pound on Saturday. I am not the kind of person who can hear such a thing and do nothing. So, I am picking him up and welcoming him to our family. I do want to find him another home asap. He is 15 lbs and sounds like a lover. My Uncle has alzheimers and dogs make him so happy. I am really hoping they will take him. I offered to drive him to Tulsa, so we will see. I dont know why I am posting except I just can't believe that someone could just say, I will take him to the pound. She has raised him since a puppy. A career would never be that important to me.
