Convenient that it's close, but I probably will spend the whole day at the consulate, it's always so packed!
Kaji's pics are on most of my receipts too. It's actually really funny to see the hairy do in the pics.
Did you use the pet passport forms from that website you linked? Did your vet already have them?
I know I probably have an entire year to plan this out, but I like thinking ahead.
