They are edible and more digestible than rawhide I think. That said, I give them only very infrequently to my Westie and never to Lucy. Ringo's breeder told me when I got him that she would prefer he have those over rawhide. Not sure why and I didn't know better at the time.
I know rawhide bones are bad for him because he will simply eat them in one fell swoop and not chew on them like he is supposed to. I've tried bully sticks with him but they are not his favorite.
I'm looking for something that he can chew - that will take him a while and NOT be bad for him. |
