Default vet

Honestly, I doubt any of my dogs have ever gotten anything in the vets office.
Parvo is not air-borne..we thought it was in the beginning and breeders were freaked out.
I do not allow my dogs to be on the floor of the office..they are in a carrier. I do not let other dogs poke their noses in the crate or people..in fact I have the crate in my lap or the seat next to me..I ask the table be wiped with disinfectant if I do not see a vet tech do it after each dog..most vets are on top of these basis things.

I take my shoes off before going back in the house..I wash my hands.
I no doubt sound paranoid..but think of all the Yorkies I have had through my kennel/home in 30 plus years..and I have had so few illnesses. If one got sick, then I could have wound up with 10 to 20 sick. Believe me no one wants to care for 20 puking, pooping dogs.
