i would continue on with the hamburger/rice diet. a similar thing happened to my maxi a little while ago and it stopped.

even if a certain food brand has good reputation, it may not be right for you dog. i heard natural choice was good, so i got it for maxi. soon after she was having the runs! that's when i gave her ground beef and rice. i found out later that natural choice puppy food had too much fat and protein in it for my puppy to handle.

maybe you can ask your vet to recommend sensitive stomach food. maxi took very well to chicken soup for the soul brand as well as science diet.
