I got the idea of ratating it from a Blue Buffalo rep. Blue Buffalo makes a grain free variety that lots of people here feed which is very similar to Taste of the Wild called Blue Buffalo Wilderness. He said it wasn't the best thing to feed a puppy because it might be too high in protein, causing him to grow too fast. He said he would stick with Blue Buffalo puppy until Knox was one year old. He also said the Wilderness food was meant for highly active dogs, and he wouldn't feed it to a dog that didn't get a lot of exercise either. Knox is very active but not quite 8 months old.

Knox likes whatever he hasn't had in a while and eventually gets tired of everything. I am going to buy 5lbs bags and switch it up pretty often. He only eats about a half a cup a day. Plus I give him healthy treats. A 5lb bags lasts a while for a 4lb dog.
