He was lucky to go, for sure! The rest of the family was really skeptical about how he would do, but I was adamant that he was not being left behind. Fortunately, he shocked everyone with how terrific he traveled.. (well not me - LOL)

We were in St Barths, French West Indies. The water is gorgeous there. Very clear. And we were far south of the gulf oil debacle...

Remy does great in the car (now) and I had worked with him to get him used to his airline travel bag for quite a few months before our departure. He never fully mastered it, or appreciated it, until we actually were "traveling" . At times when we were practicing it he sounded like he was being tortured when he was in there... whining, barking, crying, biting at the bag, etc. The antics were unbelievable (and embarrassing in public!!) Once we were "under way" I think he finally understood his bag was his "safe place" and he was fine. Thankfully
